Activities - Sept '11

A quick update on our recent activities:

Today we held a stall on Oxford Road highlighting the need for students and workers to organise together to resist austerity measures. Some pictures of the stall can be seen here: http://flic.kr/s/aHsjwjMWo5

We also helped promote the @OccupyMcr campaign - http://www.occupymanchester.org/ - which aims to protest against the Tory annual conference by occupying Albert Square during the conference.

We shall hopefully do another stall on Monday and Tuesday.

Other Manchester news:

Mass Street Stalls of Market Street - A call out for freedom of speech. Recently a street stall was shut down for GM Police, this mass call out is a response.

Cwtch - A Manchester Social Space - A group organising a space for all activists in central manchester.
